Treatises allow the player to access certain buffs to their crafting abilties. The Tools of War Schematics have a dark brown appearance and allow the player to Warforge double-headed tools.Īll 8 Tools of War chapters can be obtained through Piglin Trades, and in chests in Bastion Remnants. They can also be accessed via the creative inventory. Howling Blade - A fuller variant which, when swung, creates a turbulent field of wind around the wielder that has a chance to deflect, and more rarely reflect, incoming projectiles.Īll 3 basic schematics are found in dungeon chests and through villager trading.Throwing Knife - A blade type which can be thrown using right-click.Sturdy Guard - Allows the player to right-click block with a sword, like the old days.The three basic schematics are blue in appearance and each unlock an additional module in the Workbench UI. When stacked on top of a solid block, schematics appear rolled up, similar to their inventory sprite, but 3D. When placed on top of a Workbench, schematics appear to be unrolled and laying flat on the bench. When placed on the side of a solid block, schematics appear to be unrolled and hung up on the wall. When placed in the world, the player can see the name of the schematic by looking at it, except for when multiple schematics are stacked on top of a block. Schematics appear to be ancient scrolls of some kind, with each main category of schematic having a differently coloured scroll, as well as each schematic having a binding of a unique colour keeping the scroll rolled up. Only one schematic can be placed on top of a Workbench at a time. Up to 6 schematics can be stacked on 1 block. Schematics can be placed on the side of any solid block individually, or stacked together on top of a solid block. To use a schematic, it must be placed on a Workbench or within a 5x5 horizontal area of the Workbench, either at 1 or 2 y levels above the Workbench. The 4 categories of Schematics - Basic Schematics, Tools of War Schematics, Treatises, and Honing (Gild) - can be obtained from Dungeon Chests, Bastion Remnant Chests/Piglin Trades, Villager Trades, and Nether Fortress Chests, respectively.
